Please see below training dates that Motorsport Ireland are hosting for different categories of training, If you wish to attend any of these please email secretary@galwaymotorclub.com and Amanda will register you for same.

Training events & dates 2023/2024

• Safeguarding 1,2,3 23rd December & 24th January 2024 Via Zoom - Dates TBC.
• 00 Safety car training 11th December 2023 Via Zoom 7.30pm to 9.30pm.
• Stage Commander & Timekeeper (Rally) 17th December 2023 - Venue TBC Time 10am to 5pm.
• 00 Safety car training 15th January 2024 Via Zoom Time 7.30pm to 9.30pm.
• Senior Officials (Rally/Hillclimb First time + Refresher) 14TH January 2024 - Venue TBC. Time 10am to 5pm.
• Media Training January 2024 Via Zoom - Date & Time TBC.
• Tracking Personal Training January 2024 TBC
• Spectator Safety training January 2024. TBC.
• Childrens Officer Seminar January 2024 TBC. For all currently licenced and Garda Vetted Children's Officers.
• Marshals Seminars to be held in early 2024.
• Junior Marshals/ Officials to be launched in early 2024.
• COC Seminar

Clerk of the Course seminar will be held in the Midlands Park Hotel on Sunday January 7th 2024, commencing at 09:30am.

Attendance is mandatory for all those acting as a Clerk of the Course on a stage rally or rallysprint in 2024. Even if they hold a valid Clerk of the Course licence, attendance is still mandatory in order for them to perform as Clerk of the Course in 2024. This means that your club must have their 2024 COC's chosen in time for this seminar.

Only appointed COCs are required to attend, Deputy COCs do not need to attend.

If your club is not running a stage rally or rallysprint until 2025, you do not need to send a Clerk of the Course and a repeat seminar will be run in January 2025.

Once we have you registered with Motorsport Ireland they will notify you of the venue and any other information required.
